About Me

My name is David Landau and I am currently a network programmer in the entertainment software industry. Video games have been my life since my dad bought us our first 8086 computer and NES back in the mid 80′s. I have been fortunate enough to grow up with the video game industry watching it move from “toys” to “games” to “modern entertainment”.

I have been programming as a hobby since middle school and decided to combine it and my other favorite hobby into my career. Now I have been fortunate enough to ship a few titles and settle into a problem space that I really enjoy working in. I plan to continue evolving my skills at working with and developing game engines, especially network and platform layers within them.

Life has not been all fun and games though. I fought my way through my latter high school and early college days while struggling with a severe case of Crohn’s Disease. In the past year I have finally overcome the symptoms of it and am now moving forward seeking job opportunities and preparing to graduate.
